Masonry Saver Water Repellent for Brick is a non-glossy modified siloxane-based sealer designed for use on most vertical and horizontal exterior, above grade masonry and concrete surfaces. It can be used on clay brick, mortars, natural stone, limestone, granite, aggregate, cement stucco, sandstone, and terra cotta and will not alter the appearance. The finish is little to no gloss but slight darkening may occur on extremely dense surfaces. Masonry Saver Brick Water Repellent will help shield against efflorescence, stains, water intrusion, freeze/thaw damage, de-icing salts and is mildew and fungus resistant.

The special ingredients of Masonry Saver Brick Water Repellent allow for up to a quarter inch of surface penetration. The siloxane formula reacts with the minerals in the brick or concrete to form a strong bond beneath the surface. This bond permits the sealer to become a physical part of the substrate to provide a long lasting water repellent barrier for up to 5 years back by a manufacturer’s warranty. Masonry Saver Water Repellent for Brick is VOC compliant in all 50 states.

In a Masonry Saver Brick Water Repellent review it was found to have a spread rate of 90-150 square feet per gallon depending on the porosity of the surface. The product can be applied using a brush, roller, airless sprayer, or heavy-duty metal sprayer. All application tools can be cleaned with soap and water. Dry time for Masonry Saver Brick Sealer can vary from 1-2 hours. The high performance waterproof sealer can reduce damage costs such as chimney repair, spalling, scaling, freeze damage in colder climates, and overall deterioration.

Use Defy Masonry Saver Water Repellent for Brick to prevent damage of the hard surfaces around your home. Protecting these investments will save you money in the long run. Reapply this product every 5-7 years as needed. Be sure to clean the surface to remove dirt, grease, oils, efflorescence, wax, coatings, and curing compounds prior to applying. Be sure surfaces are structurally sound and visibly dry before sealing with Masonry Saver Brick Water Repellent Sealer.

Can’t wait to use Masonry Saver next year on my flagstone and sandstone paths and patios.

I just put Extreme Wood Stain on my cedar deck this year. When it comes time to clean it, can I apply a light coat over the areas that show excessive wear?

You cannot spot apply. The entire floor would need cleaning and reapply.
